Challenge #24, Red, Black and White

Here we go with another Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge, #24 to be exact. I can't believe we've been doing these for so long.

This week our Divine Donna is the hostess and as the title says, she would like us to use Red, Black and White on our cards. Well, since I wanted to do a preview card for the April Release, I thought Bartholomew the Bard would be perfect for these colours. I used my Copics as usual and punched out the image with my lovely Labels 10 Nesties, then sponged around him with Wheat Chalk Ink, which my darling daughter brought back from Florida for me, amongst lots of other goodies. I cut out another Nesties the same size and offset it to one side. I used some patterned papers from DCWV Glitter Stack and also some Martha Stewart Heirloom papers. I added some black buttons and the sentiment, which actually comes with Marie Antoinette, but I liked it with this. The sentiment which actually comes with this stamp is 'Let's Make Beautiful Music'.

So now have fun creating your own red, black and white card or whatever else you'd like to make and link it up at the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog. You may win whatever stamp Donna is using on her card today. If you post your cards onto a site like Splitcoast, be sure and put KKSC24 in your keywords so that we can easily find your creations.

Now, I'm actually cheating, I will be in Florida at the time this is posted, so I'm not in on all the awesome stuff that's going on. That's why I am only posting one card during the April Release Previews, I can't find the time to work that far ahead (I am trying to get another one done before we leave tomorrow, but it may not happen). However, I do know that the April Release stamps will be available at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps tomorrow and that there will be a Krafty Blog Hop, so make sure you check back tomorrow on the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog, which is where you will start the Hop and then be sure to stop in at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps store.

Well, I will see you all when I get back.

Happy Crafting, Blogging and Hopping,
Diana

  3. Those colours are perfect for Bart. You are right: the sentiment from Marie Antoinette works perfectly for him as well. The paper and colours make Bart a classy guy.
