Fall at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Good morning everyone and I hope you are having a great Saturday!
As you can see, this week's challenge is Fall, so this is an opportunity for you to make a fall card for you to send to someone special.  I already have someone in mind for this one.  It's just a simple effort as the lovely paper from EP The Story Of Fall did most of the work for me.  I usually like to keep my cards fairly simple anyway, so I matted the pretty piece onto some Old Olive, then onto some Dusty Durango card stock.  The main image is a beautiful sentiment from the new Spooktacular Sentiments set.  I used some of my Nesties dies, matting the image layer onto some more Dusty Durango.  I added some matching polka dot ribbon, a couple of very cute autumn leaves from Fall Medley button embellishments by Dress it Up.  That's all I did, sometimes it's great when the patterned paper does most of the work for you.

Have you joined to Kraftin' Kimmie Krafty Friends fb group yet?  There is always so much going on and you can share your creations in there for everyone to see and you can see the cards etc. from so many other gifted crafters for inspiration.

Now, let's see your fall creations for a chance to win some Kraftin' Kimmie rubber.  Just link your piccie to the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog.

In keeping in line with the rest of our challenges (Wonderful Wednesday and our NEW Krafty Scrappy Challenge), we will be drawing one winner per month from all Saturday Challenge entries to win a $20 gift card!! You can enter as many times per month as you'd like!!
Have you joined the Kraftin Kimmie's Krafty Friends fb group?? It's the best place to keep up with all of the goings on as well as sharing YOUR creations and getting inspired by other Krafty Friends' creations!!!
Frugal Friday specials are up NOW! Also, I believe there are still some Halloween Kard kits available but you'd better get them quick because when they're gone, they are GONE!

I am actually very surprised that I have managed to make a masculine card using buttons and bows, but as you can see, the bows are just linen thread and the buttons are corduroy, so I think it works, don't you.  I used the rollerblading guy from the Let's Roll, Dude! set from a few months back.  The card base and matting for the image layer are Watermelon Wonder card stock and the matting behind the patterned papers, also the sentiment 'cloud' are Pool Party.  The patterned papers are from EP and are called Sweet Summertime.  I also used some Pear Pizzazz behind the circle pattern.  I added some Daffodil Delight stitched ribbon across the centre, added some doodles around the image layer and that is that.

Now create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp or any other stamp and be sure to use our THEME as a starting point for your creation!!! You will have until August 28th at 11:55 pm EST to get your entries in!
Pull out those fabby stamps and play along! Have some krafty fun and join us this week!!

Kraftin' Kimmie Hallowe'en Card Kit!!

Soooo, our Kraftin' Kimmie has been working hard creating another awesome card kit and this time it's a Hallowe'en one as it seems  nearly everyone loves a Hallowe'en Card Kit.

It becomes available at 1 a.m. Sunday morning, along with the awesome August Release.  Now I don't have a card for the release, but I did make a couple of samples to let you see what you will get in the card kit.  Kim found some beautiful patterned papers, you will see just a few of them on my cards.  I had so much fun making these!  Even though I usually enjoy picking my own papers, cardstock and embellishments, it was so nice to have it all done for me.  It made the process so much faster.  Kim chose matching cardstock as well as some gorgeous orange twine, black brads and some very cute paper sentiments etc.  I used the Boo one on my Horace card and the gorgeous stars on Frightful and Delightful.  I chose those stamps as they are two of the $7.99 Hallowe'en ones you can choose.  There are a bunch more and of course, if you have your own Hallowe'en stamps already, you can choose any stamp at that price point that your little heart desires.

Be sure to check out the fabulous new stamps and creations from the Krafty Girls at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps as well as the Kraftin' Kimmie Hallowe'en Card Kit.

Be sure to go Blog Hopping and commenting for a chance to win some wonderful new stamps from our Kraftin' Kimmie.
